My first phone composite

Photography is fun, but as an art medium I find it impossible to fully express myself. Sometimes what an image I capture inspires is so much more than what I can actually show you. I was raised on great science fiction, fantasy, and other great works of imagination and that often serves as a filter for how I think. I would like to learn how to draw or paint but my skill in those areas is currently...lacking. So I have begun learning photoshop in conjunction with those other skills so that I will be able to produce something not wholly unpleasing to the eyes. This first composite was actually created entirely on my phone, the galaxy note 2. Sketchbook mobile and Snapseed are powerful editors, and combined they serve many of the functions that photoshop does. Initially I was just messing around, looking at some of my photos, and I thought this dock in Oakland looked like a path to another world....and I just sort of went from there. I believe I used a total of 5 or 6 images for the final product, all taken by me.
